I think we had a commodore 64 (remember load runner?), but at school we had an Apple IIe and I was programming on that in grade school. I was so proud to program a dice rolling game. I remember my friend having the first Macintosh in high school and it exploded my head!

A Commodore 64 when I was way too small to tinker with it. I played a bumblebee arcade-style game and that's about it. I think I had an operation game too but it was way too complicated.

My first personal computer was a Toshiba laptop. I was in highschool, and the thing was a brick. It actually still works! It has many issues though, mostly overheating and shutting off randomly. I gave it to my SIL as a backup computer for when her (also very old) laptop crashes.

Mine was in 2003 I was in 8th grade and my dad bought me a Dell desktop. I remember finding it in a magazine and circling it, and putting it in his lunch box for work as a hint that I wanted it. He ended up buying it since we had never owned a computer before that.

I got a clone of an IBM PC when I was in second grade. Well, it wasn't actually mine, but my dad let me use it when he wasn't using it himself.

That thing changed my life! I learned how to program, and generally found lots of enjoyment tinkering with the computer. I guess not much has changed.
