My first job with a W2 was as a bank teller. I started in April of my senior year in HS and worked there all through college. It was the best place to work, with the best boss and coworkers until it went from a small family owned bank to a huge, corporate bank. I got the job and worked there for a couple of years. Then picking strawberries for the same people (all seasonally until I went to college). Then shoveling shingles/cleaning for a guy who fixed up houses at 14/15. Then working at the library from 16 - 21. Data entry/bill-folding at 20. Army from 21-24 (medically retired.) Now at a library again. Shortly after that I started working in insurance which is where I'm at now. I made pizza and sandwiches and things like that, ran the cash register, took orders, coordinated deliveries, etc. I started when I was 15, and by the time I was 18 I managed the place on weekends and did payroll for the company. I also taught private violin lessons from ages 15-17.
