I waddled into the bathroom and it was a pretty constant leak. Once I could get off the toilet I kept feeling like I was dribbling. I smelled my pants and they didn't smell like urine. Honestly I was questioning it until we got to the hospital and they tested it. I was bleeding and knew something was up. Went to the hospital every day. They sent me home every day. Then my water broke. The next day I felt so crummy - like I was coming down with the flu. My whole body just ached and I felt so awful. (I had been having a lot of contractions for weeks but these were different!) I also felt kind of wet, I thought it was probably my normal heavy end of pregnancy discharge. So I got up, ate cereal, took a quick shower and by the time I got out of the shower, I was having hard painful contractions I could not talk or move through and my water had clearly broken (it dribbled out, never a gush). Went to the hospital, baby born at 1:08pm that day! Rest, liquids/juice didn't get rid of it. She was 5lb 7oz at birth (they really questioned me on whether I was sure of my dates, but I was), and her apgar scores were 8 and 8. She spent 15 days in the nicu, but she's super healthy, growing great, and hitting milestones. I also had lost a good chunk of my mucus plug that morning.
