Once I went contractions started almost immediately. The first two were four minutes apart and they never slowed down... They finally scheduled an induction date- at 41 weeks 6 days-my midwife seems to think he is going to come before friday though! (In the meantime, I had tons of Braxton-Hicks that were sometimes spaced at regular intervals.)
