Hahaha - that has happened to me and DH waaaay too many times! I always forget to check to make sure the cube dissolves.

My biggest fail lately is that I've forgot to turn the oven off three times in a 2 week span! DH thankfully notices a couple hours later, but wtf brain?!?! I'm going to burn my house down one of these days...

I made a rice recipe of my mom's the other night that called for a chicken bouillon cube. I totally forgot that she told me to check and make sure the cube dissolved completely.

Cut to dinner time, and DH is happily eating his rice...Until his face turns bright red, his eyes got big, and he RUNS to the sink to spit something out. He turned around and yelled "There was something crazy in my rice!" Then I remembered the bouillon cube... He ate it! Whoops! I think we laughed for probably an hour over it... and he volunteered to grill all weekend. I think he doesn't trust me and my pregnancy brain to cook right now. It was awful!
