Pretty horrible nausea and super sense of smell all day long from 6-13 weeks. Only one or two times actually vomiting, though. I couldn't eat or drink or swallow vitamins or brush my teeth (forced myself to anyway of course! My NP told me to make milkshakes instead of taking prenatal vitamins haha). The smell of the oven heating up was unbearable, let alone anything actually cooking. I distinctly remember driving one day and gagging because I could smell fish cooking from inside a house. Saltine crackers had way too much flavor for me. It was insane.

ETA: I was terrified of throwing up while teaching so I took Zofran and it helped calm things for an hour or two.

I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks and the morning sickness started at 8 weeks exactly like clockwork, it was the worst from about 5pm until i fell asleep. I just remembering laying in bed thinking wtf. Please stop. It lasted until a little after week 15 I'd say. But the whole pregnancy- if I woke up early (before 8am) I'd have to run to the bathroom to throw up as soon as my eyes opened, including the day of my induction at 40+4. Which personally I'd gladly take over the nausea though ugh.

dd1 - all day barfing from weeks 6-10. Everything made me throw up all the time. One day it just suddenly went away and was fine after.

dd2 - no nausea, no throwing up. Strong food aversions for a few weeks but that was it.

This one - really really bad dry heaving all the time up until this week ( 19 weeks.) I haven't thrown up, but just dry heaving over everything. It's finally letting up now, but I've also learned tricks on how to curve it.

Nausea every morning for 16 weeks and I would puke after stepping out of the shower (luckily the toilet was right there!) I'd pull it together in time to get to work and would craaaave breakfast baked goods.

I also couldn't look at or even think about la croix coconut seltzer without gagging. So random but it still grosses me out and I used to love it. Even typing that made my stomach turn a little!

#1- Nausea that started at 11am and lasted all day. No vomiting, fine on weekends. Week 7-11.
#2 Nearly constant projectile vomiting and violent dry heaving. Extreme aversions. Started before positive pregnancy test and still going strong at 11+5. From week 5-8 I had to spend all day laying down because being upright made me sick.

Constant nausea and throwing up at least once a day - more if I didn't stay in bed all day (record was 12 in one day). Thankfully I was a grad student working on my thesis so this was actually an option. Triggers included someone opening the fridge and talking about chicken.

Zofran worked wonders for me, but my insurance would only give me 12. We were very low income at the time (surprise pregnancy and I didn't yet have my green card) so we couldn't afford to fund the rest out of pocket.

It's a huge concern for when we have #2. I am a teacher and walk through a cafeteria multiple times a day and have to sit in it for 30 minutes a day with the kiddos. The food smells from the kitchen are strong and I don't want to barf in front of my students.

It was like being on a boat. Constant nausea unless I laid perfectly still. Didn't throw up unless I was out in public and smelled something horrible.
Unisom + B6 before bed helped me sleep through the night and remain nause-free until about 11am.

First pregnancy, none. Second, I had afternoon and evening sickness. Mornings were actually my best time! If I didn't eat just right through the day, I would be sick in the evening. Sometimes I'd be sick after lunch. Just drinking water would make me sick. It was tough because dinner is our big meal and I had a 50/50 chance of keeping it down or holding out till most of it was digested and just dry heaving. It didn't disappear till 15 weeks.

DD- had nausea on and off all day. Only threw up when I started eating meats again or ate pizza. Lots of cravings. Was mostly fatigued with her.

DS- nausea all day but no vomiting.

LO3- horrible nausea and vomiting the week before I lost the baby

LO4- just got into the second trimester. Nausea all day, every day. Gagging all day, every day. Vomiting every morning for about a half hour. This is the worst I've had it.

It was horrible. It was all day long. It was like when you have a super bad hangovers, one of those where you can’t eat anything because it will only make you hurl and you feel like you’re in a huge, thick fog all day. So, fun times.

I had it 4 times (two ended up as losses, but late enough that I went through morning sickness for awhile). Every time, I got full-day nausea with some food aversions and some food cravings. However, it ranged from fairly mild to really bad (never actually threw up but would be standing over the toilet often, thinking it was going to happen). First 3 pregnancies, I just dealt with it. This one, I got diclegis and it was sooo much easier to deal with (although it made me really tired, it was worth it).

Ironically, even though they say that the worse your morning sickness is, the healthier your baby is, I found it was the opposite for me. I had it way worse with the pregnancies that I ended up losing.

Debilitating nausea, 24/7. Unmedicated, I can best describe it as that feeling when you are about 3 minutes from throwing up when you have a stomach bug. Your stomach hurts, you can hardly do anything except lay there, your mouth is watering and you have that gaggy feeling...you know the throw up is coming but you don't know when.

Medicated with zofran was the same, but without the gaggy feeling in the back of my throat.

Medicated with zofran and Diclegis made me feel like that but maybe a degree less nausea.

My first pregnancy, I carried a barf bag with me any time I had to take 2 steps. I had the barf bag when I walked to the bathroom, when I drove to and from work, next to me at my desk. I couldn't stomach anything, even water. I would force myself to eat white carbs basically, because my nausea was worse on an empty stomach. But I literally would have to force myself to chew and swallow. Awful.

I had mild nausea both pregnancies that lasted throughout the day. I never threw up. I had more food adversions with#1, but with both I craved lots of comfort and spicy foods. I couldn't tolerate veggies during the first trimester either time.

With ODS, I had nausea in the first tri and threw up twice. It felt like I had a hangover all the time and I had a lot of food aversions. Couldn't even stomach plain water. But by 10 weeks it was gone.

With YDS, I had no nausea, no sickness at all, and no food aversions. Easiest pregnancy ever.

No throwing up (thank goodness) but I often wished I did, just for the momentary relief. I had nausea all day and couldnt look at most foods, let alone eat. Luckily it started to get better around 9 weeks (which worried me at the time, seemed early!) so it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been!

It was way worse with my first pregnancy than this one! With my first, I immediately felt like I had the flu and it didn't get better until middl of second tri, maybe 18 weeks or so. Like, threw up at least once a day bad. I lost almost 10 lbs in the first 20 weeks.

This pregnancy it's been so much milder I thought I was having a boy (but girls both times!). I mostly felt sick if I was hungry/had an empty stomach or if I ate too much. I def have thrown up but much less frequently. On the other hand, gas pains are worse this time! But that's usually at night instead of all day every day, so I'll take it lol

Were you nauseous all day? Just at certain times? Affected my smells or certain food? Did you throw up or just get nauseous?

I was pretty bad with both pregnancies. It was all day in the beginning but by the second trimester it was morning and afternoon primarily. I threw up anytime I got hungry, smelled or even thought about something gross. Once I saw a dumpster while driving and had to pull over to puke. And I threw up while eating once because there was a hair in my food (my own!). It lasted until 20 weeks and 30 weeks with my boys.
