She was constantly whingeing or crying. I think it was because she was permanently tired as she wasn't napping well. It helped E when I started putting her down (in her bed, with white noise, black out blinds and her dummy)after 45 mins - 1 hr of awake time, even if she wasn't giving me tired cues. She was taking about 6 half hour naps a day (and was pretty grumpy in between to be fair - but not upset any more!) Now she's a bit older and she has started consolidating her sleep she's much better - but she's still not a particularly cheery baby! She scowls at mummy, she scowls at daddy. She scowls at her toys. She scowls in her jumperoo.....! But she is getting better - honestly!! She smiles a lot more now than she did....
