She had made quilts for all her grand kids before she died and instructed DH's uncle to give the quilts to them as gifts when they each got married. We had no idea this was coming. His uncle explained the above in a note he wrote on DH's Grandmother's personal stationary, which he had also kept from 20 years ago. He didn't even attempt to take off the garage sale price stickers. It was kind of funny since we know the guy who gave it to us. It's a personalized egg plate with our names and wedding date on it. I collect egg plates and it was such a fun surprise! </p> <p>She is always talking about how she loves puzzles, so I think I'll scan their save the date card, which is a picture of the couple's name written in the sand and a sunset, and make it into a puzzle. Hoping she loves it! </p>
