Ever since that, I have been really paranoid about this. I have already made DH promise he will NOT look down there at all. Mr. Bee, you sound like a very loving and mature husband! He wasn't afraid to take a peek, and he pretty much saw everything that happened down there. He was very much in the moment, and we both cried when our LO arrived. I am thankful that I have such a wonderful, supportive husband.</p> <p>Later I asked him if he can look at me down there in the same way since he saw how our son came into this world. He said that it was a one time special moment that he has stored away. It doesn't get in the way of intimacy. When DD was crowning he kept saying "holy crap! Honey, can you see this?!" Of course I couldn't see it! I still had a big belly in my way. It sounds weird even typing it now but he was fascinated and overwhelmed and just looked astonished for several minutes after birth. Even as drugged as I was when I came out of surgery, I still remember his huge his smile was when he showed me pictures of the baby on his camera. Childbirth is so much work - not just the labor and delivery, but the whole pregnancy part too!</p> <p>Then I noted the time on my iPhone, so that Mrs. Bee could blog about it (at her request)</p> <p>My final reaction was: wow, this whole experience was way more intense than a c-section.
