Four kids?! What the heck was I thinking! :P Yep, I'm OLD........ But I traveled all over (Europe, Asia, and the Pacific) in my 20s and had a blast. No regrets marrying and having kids later. Although, I am envious of all of you who got married younger and had kids younger b/c that just means you can enjoy your life more when you're still young and see your grandchildren get married. Once we were serious and I decided that having a child with him would be pretty awesome I wanted to get started ASAP. </p> <p>So my only real "plan" was that I was hopeful to have a baby by 25, or at least be pregnant, and I wanted to be married before that happened. </p> <p>In reality, I was married at 25, we started TTC right away but I didn't have #1 until I was 27. That just seems like the norm these days. I didn't factor in meeting DH in college at 18. We dated for 2.5 years, engaged and married by the time I was 23. I got pregnant right away and had LO at 24. I'm currently pregnant with my second and will have LO2 at the age of 27. I'm thinking I'll be done having kids by 30 (if we choose to have one more). But, I didn't meet my husband until I was 32. We got married when I was 34. We had only known each other for 2 years, so we gave ourselves a year to just be married before starting to TTC. I had a miscarriage which delayed things even further. If this pregnancy sticks -- fingers crossed -- then I will juuuuuust sneak in my first baby right before I turn 37. Not ideal, but I am definitely glad that I waited for this particular husband.
