We've had 9 scans so far (37w2d) and twin 2 has been consistently called as a girl, while twin 1 hid in 8 of the 9 scans- even turned his/her back in one so we couldn't tell:). In only one scan the radiographer said "that's probably a girl" but I'm not taking that to the bank- I know two women personally who were told based on 1-2 scans they were carrying girls which subsequently turned out to be boys. Yesterday the radiographer even said its really unusual for them to hide the whole way along. The lady seemed fairly confident but told us to hold off tellin everyone. We showed some of our 12 week ultrasound pics to family members, and they (unsolicited) told us it was a boy. I'm not sure if they could really tell, or if it was just an educated guess. Obviously it will be early, and won't be confirmed until the 20 week anatomy scan.
