When family is around, I let everyone else hold him when I'm not feeding him, but I do feel a little jealous! Also, the thought of sending him to daycare in a month when i go back to work makes me cry every time! I didnt think I'd be that emotional. </p> <p>In fact, that was the biggest surprise for me. I've never felt so many different emotions, so intensely, and in such close proximity! I've lost count of how many times I've slept on a puddle of blanket-covered pee and not cared. </p> <p>I think I've been most surprised by how attached I am to him. Easy going &amp; thrived on a schedule. Little did I know all babies really are different! Lol. P is on the high needs side &amp; a parent led schedule just made things worse. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved breastfeeding bc years before I even THOUGHT about giving birth, one mom told me that breastfeeding is even harder than labor/delivery.
