I also got really into reading Michael Palmer when I was in elementary school, which is weird because he writes adult fiction medical murder mystery type books haha. I actually read all the Anne of green gables again one summer in college. As a got older loved all the christopher pike ones as well as lois lowry. Also the American Girl books. My absolute favorites though were To Kill a Mockingbird and The Outsiders, but those must have been in later elementary school/middle school.
