Then I remember around 34 weeks emotionally I had a really hard time for about a week. It was a pretty easy pregnancy in general though With this one I'm going into week 36 and I'm pretty done. Mostly at night. Once the iron started kicking in around 34 weeks I felt better and better each week. The day I went into labor was the best I felt all pregnancy. Thank goodness DS was born at 37 weeks, I'm not sure I would have been able to go on and I certainly would have been barefoot. In those 6 weeks, I developed a kidney stone and was hospitalized for 3 days, got into a car accident that would have been minor but landed me in L&D observation for the better part of a day, had a lot of stress and emotional strife because of a family members wedding. Other than some heat swelling, and trouble sleeping the rest was a breeze! I retained so much water that I lost over 30 lbs in just the hospital after delivery. I couldn't wear SHOES! I couldn't sleep at all, because I had a 9 pounder growing in me, with extra amniotic fluid (according to my doc, there was a lot of amniotic fluid in there). It was bad. So so so bad. I think that was before LO flipped and settled head down. She liked to dance on my bladder and I was really uncomfortable. Also weeks 6-13 just sucked.
