Once that is over, we are home bound for 2 weeks while the older 2 take swimming lessons every day. I imagine we will just do playdates in the morning while the baby takes his morning nap, early lunch, swimming lessons, late nap, and probably errands or just playing outside in the afternoon.<br /> For the rest of the summer, I have a list of places I want to check out - nature reserves, farms, splash parks, beaches, etc. I will plan it so the baby can take his morning nap in the car on the way and then I will give part of lunch on the way home so the kids are less likely to fall asleep and skip naps. We have a sandbox, sprinkler, and kiddie pool in our yard for the kids to play with during our down time and in the afternoons. Or story time at the library. Different splash pads are opening up now or the park. Then we are home for lunch and nap. But since our library has the passes for free, and my husband's job lets him go and take 3 people for free to both places, we haven't needed to yet.</p> <p>He takes the girls to LSC at least 2x a month on weekends, since it's free for him. If he's along, we can get into almost every museum in NYC for free through his corporate perks program. It's just the times I'm by myself that I look for a deal or use the library passes.</p> <p>The library passes are so easy--they are almost always there when I want them. Might be worth looking into if you want to be able to go several times across the year.</p> <p>We actually splurged on the LSC "Family Plus" membership so that our childcare (grandparents and/or babysitter) can take him too. It's great for rainy days and/or humid days. I actually find it to be an exhausting excursion but it's nice to have some place to go when the weather is not great. We have 10 weeks of summer break.</p> <p>Our babysitter will come most Wednesday mornings so I can work/get stuff done around the house. We are going to enroll her in indoor soccer 1x a week.</p> <p>I usually have a morning activity like the zoo/a play date/another activity or errand out of the house in the morning. She still naps so usually when DH is working from home he gets up really early to work so they can hang after nap and go to the park so I can work or cook dinner. This summer we have our boat moored 20 min away so we hope to get out 2-3 times a week.</p> <p>On nights he's traveling I usually have my mom or babysitter come over.
