Breakfast food and I'm thinking "mermaids and......???" something boy-ish. E's really into mermaids. So maybe pirates or sharks. I'm planning on crockpot gravy and biscuits, an egg bake, donuts, spinach dip, chicken salad sandwiches, fruit, and mimosas. We have a great garden/backyard and I have really taken to actual gardening with the girls, so I'm picturing my girls and some friends all wearing fairy wings and dresses, running amongst our flowers with wands and ribbons, sitting on makeshift toadstools set out for the party, looking in the hedges for 'real' fairies, whilst our organza covered patio tables are filled with fairy type foods (dainty sandwiches, petit fours, cupcakes etc) on three tiered trays, and glasses of pink punch are served with pink and white striped straws.....</p> <p>Yeah, I haven't put any thought into this, can you tell?! We kept it really simple. Her first birthday was huge and "Pinterest-y" (apple of my eye theme) so I didn't feel the need to do that again.</p> <p>For her 3rd birthday I definitely think she will understand enough to be able to pick. Who knows what she will be into! If she had a birthday party tomorrow it would probably be Cinderella-Sofia-Elmo themed.</p> <p>We will pick a kid-friendly, INDOOR location. We got rained out twice this year so we're definitely not doing that again.
