This is DD's second North Face jacket. Her first one somehow lasted from 18 months to 3 years (!) and we were happy with how it held up. I also found a Columbia fleece at Marshall's to replace her old Columbia fleece.</p> <p>Her hat and mittens from last year are still good. I have to check out her snowpants and boots to see if they still fit. I did have to buy her a raincoat and boots to leave at daycare. I splurged as a present to her for transitioning so well to her new "school" and got her the Hatley strawberry print jacket and boots. Baby has hand me downs - a Patagonia fleece, a North Face puffer, and buntings of various warmths/sizes from Gap, Carters, Old Navy, etc..</p> <p>DD1 needs snow pants - not sure what I'll buy, I need to start looking. We never even ended up cutting the threads on their "grow with me" seams, but now DD2 will get at least the snowpants (they are 2T, so a little big) and maybe the jacket (it is 3T) if it's not super huge. She outgrew just about everything from last winter. She will only wear the coat outside to play, so I don't want to spend too much on that but I also want her to keep warm out on the playground.
