When DS was a baby we used Selson Blue twice a week and it worked. He just got a bit of cradle cap back at 21 months and we used dove body wash. It broke it up great! Previously we had been using dove bar soap.

Our son has had dry, flaky scalp for what feels like his whole life (9mo). He definitely had cradle cap with the yellowy scales as a baby, but now it's just dry and flaky and only the top of his head. He doesn't have a lot of hair so it's pretty noticeable!

I'm not sure if his soap is too drying, or if we're doing the wrong combo of treatment, too frequent bathing/not enough bathing, etc. We have done baby oil, coconut oil, vaseline, Aveeno lotion, etc. after bath as well as brushing the flakes out with a soft brush but it always comes back in a day or two. We wash his hair 2-3x per week.

What combination worked best for you? I miss his fluffy, non greased up hair!
