LO is 9 months, and our pediatrician told us she could have up to 6 ozs of water a day, and that we should shoot for 4 ozs a day.

I never paid attention to how much water LO drank because she never really seemed to drink more than a couple of ounces a day. But i noticed in the last couple of days that she drained the straw cup twice (save for an ounce at the bottom that she never gets to). I don't fill it up all the way, but i'm sure she probably had 6, maybe 8oz. Is this a lot? LO is 9.5 months old, and i offer her water during mealtime, and with a snack.

I nurse throughout the day. I am glad she's finally drinking more water, but really don't want her filling up on something that may affect how much she eats.
