She must have gotten a lot of criticism for it because she posted later "I'm voting for Romney and you're stupid if you don't. If you have a problem with that you can delete me right now." So I took her up on it. She even sent a really touching holiday message to me that year not long after we became friends. I'm not sure what happened to our friendship but a few months later she was exceedingly snarky and cold with me on several occasions. I was pregnant at this point (I hadn't yet told her) and highly emotional and decided to give her the boot. I've never regretted it and we haven't spoken since.
