Ok, I was gonna start a new thread for my question, but don't wanna torture anyone - if anyone happens to answer great :)

So like orig said, positive OPKs on Sun/Mon. Tues morning was negative. So I assumed I was good and counted Mon as O, whih would make me 2 DPO. Yesterday i had the tiniest dot of red when i checked CM. Well today, I have been crampy near left ovary, and had some brown tint when checking CM, but CM is not EWCM like it was Sun/Mon. I'm so scared I'm completely off and today is O, despite negs at this point. Anyone have any thoughts? I just don't have it in me to force BD just in case

I would have Monday be day of ovulation. If Sunday you got the first positive opk then according to what my fertility monitor used to say, the first day of surge was peak1 and ovulation occurred on peak 2. At most o would occur on Tuesday. I would BD EOD through Wednesday if you want to optimize all of your days.

@Happygal: yea I was reading that recently too.. cause you don't necessarily know what point you caught the surge with OPK

I want to add that you can possibly ovulate the same day you get a positive OPK. It could be that by the time you took your OPK, you were at the end of the surge and ovulated later that evening. Based on my temps and OPK my first go round, that is what happened to me!

@Thehistoryofus: yesterday was def the most CM this cycle
@Mrs.Someone: good point - guess I'd rather not worry bc of regretting missing an opportunity
@MrsCastro: hijackers welcome! :)

guess I just really wanted this morning's OPK go definitely negative. Forgot to bring one to work to check this afternoon!

@MrsCastro: The positive OPK means you're having an LH surge and are on the verge of O'ing. A positive followed by a negative the next day means either you have just O'd, or the surge failed and you haven't. The only way O can be confirmed is by a temp shift. Watching CM helps too though! I count the day of the first negative OPK as 1dpo.

@Mrs.Someone: I have been doing OPK's for the last two cycles, this being my third...and we have usually stopped BD about when i got a positive OPK, and i just read what you are saying about actual O...for some reason i thought when you got an actual positivie OPK you were ovulating...well i learned something new about TTC this weekend...

so when you get a negative OPK after a positive that means you are O'ing. so is the day after that 1DPO?

sorry to hijack the thread a little @runnerd:...

@runnerd: looks like we might be cycle buddies...or atleast a day off...

If you keep taking OPKs, I'd count your first negative test as O day. If the OPK is positive, you haven't yet O'd, but are likely to within a day or two.

You're probably OK with skipping BD, but in a week or so will you have wished you had gone for it one more time?

What has your CM been like?

I don't think it would be the end of the word if you didn't BD again, but I would do it again maybe tomorrow morning or something just in case.

I'm still new to this, but I would think part of it depends on your CM. If you have fertile CM today, I would count today as your ovulation date. And I would say unless the mood strikes, you're fine with BD!

I don't temp, just OPKs and CM tracking. Last month I had distinct O pains and that was the day I marked as O day, but haven't had that this time, so I'm not sure about O day.

Sat my OPK was nearly as dark or possibly as dark as control line, sun it was definitely darker, and this morning with FMU it was as dark as control, but slightly lighter than Sun.

Do you think I should count Sun or Today as O day? Or maybe tomorrow?? Would it be end of the world if we don't BD again? (We did thurs, sat, sun).

Thanks guys! My TWW nerves are kicking in today, stressing over if we need to do it again, I just don't want to make this like last month where the sex thing felt forced and timed :/ so far this month was much better.
