@LaughLines: That is another good point.
These responses are getting me to lean toward trying Clomid this month.
Anyone who voted the other way want to reply with why they would wait?

I voted to medicate this month because if you don't this month, and don't get pregnant, then next month could also be thrown off due to traveling during ovulation time... could cause to to skip ovulation or delay it or something. So you really could be delayed 2 months... Not sure if traveling would really affect you, but I've heard it can mess with ovulation

@LAZB: You'll either be celebrating a BFP, or going all out and living it up!

@Grace: That's a good point, I wouldn't necessarily get pregnant this month, so winetasting in Greece would be a great consolation prize :)

I'd go for it. It would still be so early in pregnancy that you'd (hopefully) still be feeling good. Also, I always gave myself a treat when a cycle failed (like a massage). Going to Greece and drinking etc., sounds like a great treat.

@snowjewelz: @wonderstruck: Y'all are making me consider it more :) I had a great pregnancy the first time, no morning sickness, just really tired from about 7 weeks-12 weeks.
I went ahead and scheduled CD3 labs for tomorrow so I still have time to decide either way.

I would medicate, but then again I've been through a totally healthy pregnancy where I drank and went on a ton of roller coasters a few days before getting my BFP, so I think I'm less paranoid. Not that I would drink or do questionable activities once I knew that I was pregnant! But for me, five weeks was a pretty good time - super excited, not sick yet or experiencing any physical symptoms other than being a bit more tired than usual, just not drinking or eating questionable food. But for me, I don't really enjoy alcohol or most of the food pregnant women aren't allowed to eat. So I think it's kind of a personal decision based on how much you would feel like you're missing out on.

I'll still go for it! Missing out on some food/drinks on vacation or even feeling a tiny bit sick is well worth it to be expecting!

I am currently on CD 2, and debating whether or not to medicate (probably Clomid) this cycle, so thought I'd ask the opinion of you ladies :)
DH and I are planning a two week trip to Greece in the beginning of July. It will take us about a day to get there and a day to get back. We will be in business class though, so not quite as bad. If I were to get pregnant this cycle, I would only be 5 weeks when we go.
If I'm not pregnant I will get to enjoy a few more things (drinks, some of the foods and activities), but would still have an amazing time without those things.
I will TTC either way (medicated or not) this month, although the likelihood of getting pregnant without meds is almost non-existent. If I don't get pregnant, then I would definitely take Clomid the following month, probably ovulating while we are on vacation.
I want to be pregnant again more than anything, but I'm afraid that I would worry the whole trip if I was so early in a pregnancy, and that is the big reason that I'm considering not medicating this time.
What would you do?
