I think that it’s really insensitive of the family to let them put themselves in that situation. I might be critical of my kids because my parents were very critical. I actually get really upset when I see young kids on the show who are terrible and I wonder how their parents could let them be humiliated like that. But, what happens if it they are completely devastated by being rejected.</p> <p>I think if they wanted to do it I think I would be supportive but I would tell them to be cautious that they might not feel the same way. </p> <p>I don't really like reality tv shows so maybe I would persuade my child to show off their talents on a less public event. Like a talent show or something. </p>
