What kind of chutney is it? I would grill or fry the pork, and when it's almost done put it on top so it can caramelise a bit!

@travellingbee: I've only put it on after it cooks. I suppose you might cook with it, but I suspect the chutney would lose the flavor, cause it's already been cooked once.

We've grilled or broiled turkey and served it with chutney as a dip. I also like using it on a sandwich with turkey. Your idea with pork sounds delicious!

Some chutneys can be pretty spicy, since it's considered kind of like a condiment. So you may want to open and taste it before you decide how to use it. Generally, it's just used as a side--like, a small side. Think wasabi and sushi.

But if it' not spicy--like a mango chutney, then maybe on top of a Turkey burger, like a relish?

@Mama Bird: how would you use it with meat? Put it on after it cooks? Or cook with it?

Your idea of sounds delicious. I've added chutney as an unnecessary, but yummy topping to stewed kale or collard greens. You can mix with cream cheese for a cracker spread.

I have one that I bought from an Indian market a while back and haven't used it. Any simple ideas for what to do with it? I was thinking maybe put it on pork? But not sure...
