That dress looks purple on my computer but besides that I think it would work!

From what I read this wedding seems very low key which I think this dress is perfect for. :) It's such a lovely simple dress that I believe it will go great for the whole night. I love other people's suggestions of dressing it up for the reception.

I voted to wear different things for each part of the wedding but then I realized you probably mean wear two different dresses. I was going to suggest changing accessories or maybe shoes to go from day to night but wearing the dress you own.

nice dress! :) I'd just wear great heels, sparkle something, and statement jewellery :) sounds like a nice intimate wedding!

I'd wear what you have too and just try to dress it up for night.

Also; at night it's dark and if your clothes are dark it all kinda comes out the same anyway :silly:

I totally think that could work! You could change up your look a little too for night with a sparkly belt and jewelry or something that you can stash in the car.

I think that's fine. You can dress it up a little with fancier shoes, bag, jewelry. Definitely wear heels, not flats or boots (which I think would also look nice with it, just not for the wedding).

A little background: My brother is getting married in a few months. There is no bridal party but they would like the family all dressed in navy or grey so pictures are cohesive. I'm struggling with what to wear because the wedding is kind of split. The ceremony will be in the morning with family only, then we will all go out to lunch together and then the reception (all the non-family guests are invited to this part only) will be held that afternoon/evening. I already own a navy dress but I'm not sure if it will work since it has to transition from day to night. I've included a poll and a picture of the dress (same dress except mine is navy instead of purple) Thanks for your help!
