It was interesting. </p> <p>I'd be much more upset that he hadn't mentioned it before now, rather than the fact that he was a donor. I think that donating sperm and eggs is very commendable and I don't think it would bother me. It takes a lot more than genetic material to make a family. I would never view them as "his" children. Same as if I donate eggs at some point. I would be more mad if I found out it happened after we were together and it was something he actively hid from me as opposed to something he did before we met. </p> <p>There was a show once that followed people from different sides of this issue. A single mother who's children came via sperm donation and wanted to meet the donor. A donor (actually the donor for the single mom mentioned before) getting married and telling his fiance about the whole thing. And a young college girl who's parents were unable to conceive on their own and was torn between wanting to not hurt her dad by seeking more information but also wanting to understand where she "came from".
