A snack of cereal while I cook, then cheese omelets and fruit, mostly. She'll also sometimes eat breakfast sausage, yogurt, or toast, but you never know, because...toddler.

Exact same thing, over and over and over and over until I am so bored but DS is not:

1. Scrambled eggs AND

2. Half a banana AND

3. A choice of the following:
a- Home made (batch-freeze) chocolate chip banana zucchini pancakes
b- Home made (batch-freeze) chocolate chip oat banana muffins
c- Store bought french toast sticks
d- Store bought waffles

(usually a and b)

4. Milk

It HAS TO be banana. I tried asking hey do you want grapes or banana? BANANA! Do you want apples or bana... BANANA!!! Or, hey do you want to do peanut butter toast with banana slices and almonds? Or yogurt... NO! Eggs, bananas, and pancakes!! Okay, okay.

Usually a whole wheat frozen waffle (but this week they've been cake waffles with sprinkles because DD saw the box had Frozen on it...) some kind fruit and yogurt or eggs. If they're really hungry, they'll have cereal with all that too.

They eat eggs almost every morning. They also love cereal and milk but I swear it turns into cement on my floors and I hate cleaning it up. They also like banana waffles. Whenever I spend much time on breakfast and do the works (eggs, toast, bacon, fruit) they eat nothing haha. And most days they request cake. Not that I give in, but they still try it with me.

I don't put much effort into breakfast because DS hasn't been eating it lately. Usually I give him half a hard boiled egg with toast and some fruit. He might eat a few bites if I'm lucky. I don't know how this kid grows with how little he eats!

Usually yogurt. Sometimes she'll eat a banana, too, or some cereal or mini waffles. If we make sausage that's her absolute favorite, but we never cook it on the weekends.

This week, she's super into her daddy's green smoothies. He puts spinach, beets, and oatmeal in them--so we're happy about that. Haha.

Also, I want to try this: http://www.babyfoode.com/blog/baked-pumpkin-oatmeal

We have bagels and cream cheese, PB toast, cold cereal, or "cuppy yogurts" (aka individually packaged yogurt) served with fruit almost every day. Once or twice a week we will swap out the fruit for a smoothie. Occasionally I will make a big batch of mini muffins. I try to do one weekly "fancy breakfast" (aka something I freshly cooked from scratch) with waffles/ pancakes/ french toast/ biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, etc. DD hates eggs so I have a hard time getting some quick protein into her in the mornings.

My boys have really been into pancakes, waffles, and french toast lately. I've been trying to make a big batch and keeping them in the freezer.

This week we're having banana muffins. In their younger days, they loved those cereal bars that I get from Trader Joe's and try to tell myself that they're better for you than straight up nutri grain bars.

At daycare they get cereal, pancakes, or bagels in rotation with milk. He also usually snacks on cereal in a snack trap on the way to school.

At home, he usually asks for cereal since he has it during the week at school. He also gets some combination of pancakes, eggs, sausage, or rice. And usually a big helping of fruit.

Day care food. I think it's usually cereal or cottage cheese and something on the side. Today it smelled like they were making pancakes with apples. I'd eat at day care if I could :silly:

At home it's lately oatmeal with maple syrup, fruit and hot chocolate. Sometimes an omelette, but DH and DS are obsessed with oatmeal and I think DD is becoming a fan too.

During the week, we give her the option of oatmeal (oats, nut butter, chia seeds, hemp hearts, almond milk, maple syrup, fruit) or a chia waffle with nut butter and maple syrup. Sometimes she has a green smoothie too.

On the weekends we go out once (she always picks a corncake) and then I'll usually make something like biscuits and gravy, or breakfast bowls. I always try to do at least 1 smoothie a day on the weekends.

For several years now, I've rotated through the following breakfasts (all served with fruit on the side): Whole wheat challah french toast, whole wheat pancakes, oatmeal with a scoop of nutella, scrambled eggs and whole wheat english muffin, smoothie and cold cereal. Those 5 get us through the week and then on the weekends, it's a repeat or we pick up from the bodega on the corner :)
