Easy
Naps
Bedtime
Eating
Communication
Play

Hard
Weaning - LO2 seemed to sense it was coming and now nurses constantly
Health of LO2 (bad diaper rash & poop issues plus pink eye & now asthma).
Lo1 (3) testing boundaries: trying to sneak outside or run away from us while we're out.

Easy:
Bath time. Both kids (2.5 and 3mo) like baths
Weekends. I thought it would be hard to entertain two all weekend but the baby is portable and we have so much fun now that the weather is nice
Getting dressed

Hard:
Bedtime! The 2.5 year old insists on somebody lying on his floor while he falls asleep, which takes at least 45 minutes. The baby falls asleep pretty easily but wakes if he's put down. It's incredibly frustrating, I miss having personal time in the evenings.

EASY:

* They stopped throwing huge tantrums! Ok maybe not completely, but it's so much more rare that it's incredible.
* My son uses the bathroom completely by himself. He also showers by himself!! Well you have to turn the shower on for him (since the knob is too high for him to reach), but still. Incredible.
* They actually listen to us. Crazy, never thought this day would ever come!

HARD

* The kids both fight sleep with everything they have, and sometimes it can be 11 pm or even midnight before they fall asleep! Room-sharing is no joke!! It helps when we can put them to bed in separate rooms, which we did last night - phew.
* They still don't have big appetites. But somehow (photosynthesis?) my son grew a decent amount in the past year, and so I don't worry about it as much.
* My son is usually so sweet, so he doesn't get mad too often. But when he does, what he says is so much more hurtful than the sort of stuff he used to say! Never thought I'd be nostalgic for a simple "I hate you!"
