@mrs. wagon: No, I find cream of wheat to be more mealy. The Bob's 5-grain (you can get it at Publix) is more like oatmeal, but I don't think it's as lumpy or chewy. This is more creamy with some texture. It's so good, you could probably put some apples and nuts in there too!

@ladyfingers: @Baby Boy Mom: that does look good!!! Is regular instant cream-of-wheat any comparison? I've never had it... I'm not a big oatmeal fan because I don't like the lumpy/chewy consistency.

I had half a croissant, a fiber one chocolate and oats bar, and iced coffee with my favorite fat free caramel macchiato creamer.

My LO's on the BRAT diet because she's been having lots of diarrhea :( I'll probably make her some toast and a banana and I'll make myself an egg with a hole in the middle. Most people call in eggs in a basket.... but my mom always called it an egg with a hole in the middle.

We always talk about lunch but we all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day!

So, what's for breakfast today?

I'm having half a blueberry bagel w/crunchy peanut butter, a slice of bread with hummus, cup of decaf coffee w/almond milk as creamer and a glass of apple juice.
