Ugh, I don't know....we're banned from making anything too fragrant due to a house showing tomorrow (the owners are trying to sell the house and some of the feedback from previous showing was "smells like people were cooking in here"...well duh, because people live here!).

So I have zero ideas. Sandwiches??

@CakeLady: I love this recipe!! Can't wait to try it!! Love that it doesn't involve boiling the pasta, drain, return to pan... I hate doing that because my sink is usually full of dirty dishes and it's another step to empty the sink before draining the pasta. And emptying the sink usually means emptying the dishwasher too...

I do not belong in this thread! We're getting Domino's tonight. $7.99 for a 3 topping large. We usually get it once a week but we haven't in a long time!

@edelweiss: she was pooping 5 times a day, and now it's more like two. I think it's gettin less mucousy.... I messed up a couple times, so although I've been trying for a month, it will only be two weeks without ANY on Saturday. We were noticing some blood specks and those have stopped.
We have a vacationing Maine coming up and I'm dreading having to avoid it there...no seafood in butter

We cook with a lot of beans and lentils. Try to do a salad meal once a week. I look at smitten kitchen and joy the baker, but they aren't vegetarian specific

Tonight, we're having grilled chicken breast with a maple Dijon sauce. Very similar to the "man pleasing chicken" recipe. We're roasting some baby red potatoes, and tossing a small green salad for sides.

One of my favorite vegan dishes in our rotation is a pan fried seitan with broccolini and a clemetine soy sauce.

@Silva: how is the non-dairy diet going? any effect on LO's poop? we've cut back on meat as well (i blame it on reading food, inc. and omnivore's dilemma, and not being able to afford farmers market meat every week). any favorite places you like to go to for vegetarian recipes?

One pan pasta is my new favorite time-crunched weeknight dinner - it is SO easy and really delicious with minimal clean up. You can also add extra veggies or substitute whole wheat pasta. It is vegan and dairy free (without Parmesan) too !
