Big sister's is cypress (Louisiana) and little sister's is box elder (MN). They are really pretty. He's getting 7 wooden eggs I painted with food dye and sealed with beeswax (like the tutorial posted a few days ago.) he's also getting a board book Bible, the "basket" itself (a metal pail that I drew his monogram with puff paint on-- like the one they did on Young House Love for Clara a while ago). The last thing is that I grabbed one of his stuffed bunnies and hid it about 6 wks ago. I figured he wouldn't know the difference or care if it was new or not.
