I have gestational diabetes and they want your fasting to be between 60-90 and after meals to be between 90-120.

Typically blood sugar should be under 100 ml/dl fasting if you aren't diabetic.

From memory, I think the numbers are the same it's just that the pancreas do there job producing insulin so sugars don't cause a problem.

With LO1, I had gestational diabetes. With this pregnancy, I passed the first 3 hour glucose test. I'll have to do it again around 26-28 weeks. (I'm 23 weeks now.) I've been using my leftover test strips to test my blood sugar, but I don't know what my target numbers are. I know that after being diagnosed with GD, it was 90 for fasting in the morning and 120 one hour after eating. Is it the same if you don't have GD? Any input would be greatly appreciated!!
