My mom and aunts always tell me that diarrhea is typical of teething. My daughter never had it but my son seems to be just pooping up a storm. In general he's always pooped more since birth (3x a day) but since teething its been anywhere from 5-7 times a day. He's still in good spirits and eats a lot. No weight loss but not much gain either. What is normal and what isn't? I talked to his peds but she didn't seem alarmed by it. She gave me bottles for stool cultures just in case it's parasitic.

But Does Anyone have similar experience?

Mine wasn't fussy at all while teething... he was just a drooling monster.

Sometimes it was hard for him to go to sleep and we thought it was teething so we gave him meds just before sleeping to help but it turns out he's just chranky when try to put him to sleep. :)

Good luck! I think every baby is different.

It doesn't sound like she needs meds. M has always been rely good except for this time. But I think she's cutting 2 uppers plus 2 back molars.

Meds are only necessary when they look like they are in pain/discomfort.

Like @chopsuey119 our son had virtually no signs of teething other than a very low fever. All of a sudden he had his first two teeth right before his first birthday. He has been very slow to get his teeth and at almost 2.5 years only has 12, but 4 more have just started poking through in the last 3 weeks. We've been very lucky with the symptoms.

On the other hand, DS has a cousin who is just four weeks younger and he had his first teeth at about 6 months. He had all of his teeth by 1.5 years and terrible symptoms every time: fever, diarrhea, lots of drool, night weaklings, irritability, ear infections, everything!

It really just depends on the kid.

DS always gets really runny noses and tons of drool before a tooth comes in. Then the multiple wake ups at night start. Hylands teething tablets worked well for us.

I can only say what we've experienced - no clue if it's normal. LO's gum was red and swollen, and his nose was very runny/super drooly and then we saw a white spot. A few days later we had a ROUGH night and the next day it had cut through. We're going through the same thing right now for tooth #2.

All in all it was probably a week from change in behavior/symptoms to cut tooth. If he was physically pulling on his gum and fussing, I'd give him hyland's teething tablets. I give tylenol if he is crying/screaming when I have attempted offering everything else and/or know it's not hunger or overtiredness.

My DD wasn't affected by teething. She didn't drool much, no fevers, no fussiness.
2 weeks before any of her molars came in she had more saliva in her mouth and got pretty bad congestion.
DS hasn't gotten any teeth yet, but hoping he's a good teether too.
I think all babies are different.

LO is one week shy of 7 months and I'm pretty sure her first four (WHAT?) teeth are coming in. I say 4 because her gums are super swollen at the site of the bottom two teeth and on each side.

This is obviously new to me & LO is not super fussy, but not really her normal self. All she wants to do is sleep and comfort suck/nurse. Also, she's not really babbling as much as normal and just kind of looking around observing. No fever either.

What's normal behavior? When should I give medicine?
