@mewtill: nah, you're fine! A lot of our babies are a little older. I didn't really go to 3 meals a day till she was maybe 10 or 11 months?

M slept in this morning so she had a blueberry & oat pouch in the car for breakfast.
Morning snack: daycare (I believe today is yogurt)
Lunch is Viet BBQ Pork, edamame, applesauce & oranges
Afternoon snack of hummus with avocado and blueberries
Dinner: TBD!

Wow - all these babies eat so much! Maybe I should bump it up for our guy? He's 8 months old & today got:

Breakfast: some crumbles of a baked oatmeal bar
Snack: a handful or two of puffs
Lunch: several slices of pear, hamburger crumbled up, 2 chunks of boiled potato, 1/2 a graham cracker
Dinner: I don't know yet. Probably more pear slices & toast fingers with avocado.

Geez, that doesn't seem like much and it's pretty bland. I better start brainstorming some more interesting menus :)

Today we were home together, so no daycare and my parents just picked her up for a night at their house, so I'm not sure what she'll have for dinner (some of whatever they are having, probably my dad will make Chinese food since E loves Chinese food he makes!)

breakfast: banana, strawberries, cheerios, some of my waffle with jam

Snack: hummus and apple slices

Lunch: salsa cheese cubes (like pepperjack, but better!), cheddar cheese cubes, ham, turkey, huge pickle spear, some spinach pita, roasted red peppers

Snack: more cheese, more strawberries

Dinner: probably Chinese food made by my dad

@regberadaisy: It truly amazes me how much your LO eats. My girl seriously eats like a bird.

Breakfast: yogurt with chopped mango
Lunch: rice & pigeon peas (caribbean style made with coconut milk), sauteed zucchini w/a sprinkle of parmesan cheese, and orange slices
Dinner: I'm making bowtie pasta w/ chicken meatballs

She also has about 9 oz. of whole milk (and nurses morning and evening).

Snacks: I've tried to send some more fruit as a snack, but since her nanny share buddy eats cheerios and other toddler snacks like that, LO eats the same because they HAVE to have the same snacks.

Dinner: ?? Chicken and veggies probably. Maybe more quinoa salad if there is any left.

Ds (12 months) isn't a big eater - he spits out and throws food on the ground a lot.

Breakfast 7 am (about an hour after he nurses when he wakes) - Greek yogurt and half a banana. Cheerios for grazing.

Lunch 11 am today (or whenever he is up from his first nap) - whole grain waffles, sausage, cantaloupe

Snack 2 pm - peas then yogurt melts

Dinner 5 pm - we're having burgers so he'll eat (or throw it on the flooor) some of that as well as sautéed broccoli - and a purée pouch if he doesn't eat much.

Snack 7pm - edamame beans then puffs

@regberadaisy: Honestly, he started getting picky when he started teething for these latest 8 teeth. My husband thinks that's what set him off, since his mouth was so sore. It's like he suddenly had a texture hang up.

@BananaPancakes: when she was sick I was starting to get worried she was getting picky! Thankfully she bounced back when she got better. She is generally really good about trying everything we give her once. Every now and then she does not like it and we'll try again at a later date.

@MungBean: depends on the meat. With the pork loin we just slice it a little thinner than ours but in strips. So probably like 1/8"-3/16" strips? But we just cook till no pink/red but not mushy. She also has 4 bottom, 4 top teeth and 2 molars so that might help!

@regberadaisy: Can I just say how amazed and jealous I am that M eats like this?! I would do just about anything to get my LO to eat better. I keep trying veggies different ways, and offering them to him before anything else (when he's super hungry) and the most I can get out of him is one bite. Half the time it's not even that much. He ate everything until about 1.5 months ago b

And he pretty much eats the same thing every day:

Breakfast - 2 pieces of bacon, a banana, and a handful of Cheerios.

Lunch - a fruit and a meat

Snack -raisins

Dinner - a fruit and a meat.

I offer him all kinds of other things, but this is what actually goes into his mouth.

Lunch: Butternut squash quinoa, fruit

The fruit will probably be raspberries or blueberries, although the latter gave us a Level III poop emergency yesterday and I'm not sure I'm up for it again so soon.

Ugh. Today is going to be a bad one for us. It's a busy week for me in my defense. Morning breakfast was organic whole milk, organic cheerios, and a Happy Tot fruit squeeze pack w/ blueberries, pomegranite, and salba. Both snacks and lunch are whatever daycare provides. Healthy enough, but nothing awesome. Dinner will very likely be leftover Mexican takeout from last night. I'll throw in some fruits and veggies for good measure and vow to cook something better for tomorrow!
