Usually we go to my parents for Christmas day and have a Christmas quiche with crab or ham and cheese croissant sandwiches. This year I didn't cook breakfast and we didn't go to my parents, his pain management pills make him sensitive to sound. When I pour each pancake into the pan, I take a spoon full of the syrup and drizzle it onto the pancake in a spiral. I might add some eggs and hash browns in too, but our kitchen is the size of a postage stamp so it's hard to make more than one thing at once.
