She's 10 months old! ;) </p> <p>Really though, I kind of dislike the commercial part of Christmas. My husband on the other hand grew up very poor. They were one of the families that other people "adopt" for Christmas. Because of this, we've found a happy medium. Thanks to @youboots: we have a plan: "something you want, something you need, something to wear, and something to read." ... We buy lots of stuff consignment/used/on great sales through the year, so I actually already have a big stockpile of stuff to give her through age 5!
