When we go shopping, we pop her car seat into (what is essentially) a wire frame stroller and plop him into the seat of a shopping cart. I bring a baby carrier with me for when she gets fussy (my Beco) and when he needs a break from the cart we just carry him. My car has two strollers in the back right now. Her minimum stroller and his umbrella. We have a single BOB and the infant carseat adapter that fits it and our carseat. We were kind of thinking that we can stroller one and wear one? The only time I've had real difficulty is when it comes to doctor visits and I was initially going into the doctor's office solo (had a friend meeting me there) It was impossible trying to steer two strollers. Add to that the fact that the umbrella stroller that I had, while a little nicer than the $20 ones you see at Target since this one folds in half, the wheels were impossible to turn even when I <i>did</i> just have to take care of one stroller.</p> <p>Mainly, the double stroller for now is so that we can take a walk around the campground with both babies and one stroller or later on next month we hope to take both kids to the zoo. So for the first few months? Not necessary. I had wanted to get a double stroller that matched the car seat that we have pattern wise but for $50, this is a steal and the pattern is nice and relatively neutral.
