That's a toughie.</p> <p>I ended up using our bassinet a lot in the beginning and hardly ever used the pack n play so I would vote for bassinet. I ended up borrowing a really soft and cushy bassinet from a friend and my LO slept well in it (it was small and cozy and I guess he felt comfortable in it).</p> <p>A lot of moms used the pack n play changing station as their bassinett for the first few months and then ended up using the pack n play as a portable crib so they loved it and got good use out of it. For me, I'd rather have invested my money in a nice cushy bassinet or co-sleeper since my LO hated the pack n play. It's great for the kitchen when I don't want her running around underfoot. There was a few months when it was going to the wayside collecting dust. Don't give up...you'll use it again when LO is in the cruiser mode. Just give her soft toys and don't let her climb out of it. Our LO likes to play Peek a Boo on it and even push it around the living room like a huge walker. Not what it was intended for but fun, nevertheless. </p> <p>Oh and to answer your question, I wish I wouldn't have embarked on the 'ideal sippee cup' search. Wish I would have just stayed with #3 with the flip straw. Such a pain to use if your LO doesn't have a good latch and a pain to clean because of the double nipple design. The second I put him in it, he would scream. And he was a pretty mellow baby/toddler. Most women love the pack n play but I just found it unnecessary. The only times I used it were when I had to put my baby in there to go use the restroom.
