His second was also pretty big, but smaller and less big of a deal than the first. Now that his next birthday party will be for 3 years old, it will probably just be kids and their parents, and whatever family can come. I find that the numbers get smaller as the kids get older (from the birthday parties we've attended) because the party is more for the kids than the adults. Usually it's at a kids gym or play place, with pizza and cake. I'll probably have closer to 20 for the second birthday coming up soon. For both parties, it is immediate family and close friends.
