For K, it was initially because it provided just enough resistance that she didn't startle awake. We used the merlin's sleep suit. </p> <p>Now that DS is starting to roll to his side in the merlin's sleep suit, we are now using the zipadee zip. We love it because DS likes to scratch his face and head. We do use mittens and socks but he can take those off. Even to this day, I hate being "tucked" into my blankets. Some babies just like the comfort of being covered but allowed some movement.</p> <p>My goddaughter has a ZipadeeZip and she loves it. LO could still move around like crazy and was just annoyed that he couldn't access his hands/ properly grab his binky. So, we just put him in a plain zippered sleep sack.</p> <p>Why do people love the zippadee zip so much? </p>
