@Honeybee: She seems ready and interested, and the first thing we tried was squash puree and she loved that...but all the sudden she doesn't like anything else...

We started around 6.5 months for BLW! She didn't really show an interest until 7 months.

When B started oatmeal, he thought we were crazy. I started adding cinammin (sp?) and bananas and he LOVES it! I'd give your LO some more time, at 5 months she is still learning to eat.

Does she seem interested/ready for solids? I would waut until she seems excited about food and then try introducing food again.

LO is 5 months old and we just started purees, however after about 10 days of trying, she still hates everything I have offered! I don't know if this is normal and she will eventually get used to it, but I have wasted a lot of food. I am wondering if BLW would be more her thing. I would not feel comfortable starting it now since she is only 5 months, but what is the ideal time to start? 6-7 months? longer? I'm thinking of taking a break from the purees for a few weeks and then try the BLW when she is ready, but I'm still a little nervous!
