Usually if she wakes up before 5:30 or so, if Dh or I go in and snuggle with her in the bed in her room (she's in a crib but we have our old guest bed still in there) she will go back to sleep until a reasonable hour. But sometimes she just can't settle down and it's so painful. </p> <p>Unfortunately lately her wake up time has been too close to six for my liking. Probably her earliest ever, even though she didn't go to bed that early. It sucks cause she wakes up so grumpy and won't sleep more. For the most part he's always been a late sleeper, like 7:30-8am. But he just started waking between 6-6:30 now and it's a big adjustment for us! Changing bedtime didn't seem to do anything. It seemed to be hunger related. That was about a year ago and she's back with the 4:30 wakeups again. At least this time she'll go back to bed after crying for 10 min or so until 5:30. My older did it if we put him down too early when he STTN. My younger has done it when sick or if we have been staying someplace that didn't have black out shades. My kids love waking up early in general! </p>
