I used to be a night owl who would sleep in until at least 10am on weekends but now 7am is a sleep in for me! The adjustment to less sleep was definitely hard - it made my relationship with dh very tense and strained. Going through sleep regressions/wonder weeks/sleep disruption truly affects me! I am exhausted, our house is a wreck, I've got 14 million things to do for our move, and I cant get anything done! Bad sleep destroys everything lol.!! If we can get back to at least 8 hrs a night and a couple of decent naps a day, everything will be okay!!! I was very accustomed to 9-10 hours a night! But I have learned to adjust and now get about 8 and feel OK.</p> <p>Second would be the loss of "freedom". No spontaneous date nights, quick in/out trips to the store, weekend getaways, easy cheap vacations, doing what we want with money (haha!)... But it's worth it! </p>
