By having their childhoods overlap i will be raising kids for overall less time :silly: I mean that in the best way possible. I just can't imagine having like a 10 year old and then having to start all over with a newborn and go through age 0-10 separate from the first one. That's basically adding on 6 years to my life of child-rearing years versus if i have my second when LO1 is 4 max. I like the idea of having adult relationships with both my kids too at the same time. My age is also a factor and the longer I wait for the next kid, the older I am getting and I am currently at the age i would like to be done TTC. DH's next sibling is 18 months younger, then 18 months after that, then 5 years after that, making him 8 years older than his youngest sibling. He is by far closest to his youngest sibling, so big age gaps don't scare me in that way. I don't think I want to be in the baby phase of life that long, but if we do have a 3rd, I could imagine having a 3-4 year age gap.
