She was typically a once a weeker at most while EBF. Now at 16 months she still struggles with constipation and only goes like.. twice a week? I think the longest was maybe 2 days? Usually she pooped several times a day! My DD2 struggled like crazy with what i thought was constipation, but multiple doctors told me that it was normal for EBF babies to go up to 2 weeks without pooping. Maybe not normal, but "okay." Nothing to worry about. Usually, around the 2 week mark, she would finally poop. It was like that for the first 7 months of her life. We were travelling and didn't have access to a pediatrician, so he was in a warm bath feeding her prunes and massaging her belly, haha. Don't stress too much :)- if LO requires treatment, it'll probably just be a glycerin suppository. Not super fun to put in, but painless and easy. She seems totally normal and is passing gas off and on like normal. I will put in a call to her doctor by tomorrow if nothing has happened by then it being Friday and I'd rather not wish I had over the weekend. She's eating completely normally, too. Both of my boys pooped several times a day though when they were EBF. (Even if only because of how much poop WILL come out when she does finally decide to let loose. :silly: ) what about your LO?
