It's kind of a pain to get to, even coming from Asia, it was kind of hard. We went from tokyo to Singapore to Male to another smaller island all by planes, then we had to take a boat to the resort, which is on it's own island. But once you're there, the trip is so worth it. That was when long distance was crazy expensive and flights cost twice as much (in today's dollars) as they do now.
