It's a tiny little town in Hokkaido. It took more than a few hours to get there by train from Sapporo, then we had to take a very rarely departing bus to Teshikaga. We stayed at a minshuku that was adjacent to Lake Kussharo. We had just spent 5 days on safari in Africa, so we went to the Seychelles looking for some relaxing beach time! Honestly, we were underwhelmed by the Seychelles. It's most definitely beautiful but it is FAR, and there are places in the Caribbean that are just as nice. It was beautiful. I went during their winter, so I'd love to go again during their summer.
