Hottest was probably 120? in Vegas.

Coldest was definitely at home (Michigan), counting in windchill it's normal to be -50+ in these snowmygod winters we've had recently!

I once played a soccer tournament in 105F weather. That was intense.

I'm not sure about cold though, maybe around 5F or 10F below 0, with windchill? Windchill can can make it feel more like -30F.

The hottest I ever felt was July in Mexico - so humid, no AC, you would shower, dry off, and be instantly sweaty. Gross. I was 14 on that trip, I think. I've been in hotter temperatures (115-120) in CA and AZ, but it's dry and there's AC everywhere, so it's not as bad.

The coldest is not very cold. Definitely not below 0. I've only seen snow fall like 3 times in my life. Other times when I've gone to the snow, it is chilly, but sunny and not that cold.

No really. It is -60 with crazy wind chills all the time here :(

Then in the summer it will be well over 100 with 100% humidity! :(

I camped in -10. :(

Where I grew up in West Texas, it would get up to 119 or so almost every summer. The lowest temperature was a Boxing day I spent in Edmonton, Canada where they were having a cold snap. I don't know what the actual temperature was, but I just remember that even in all my winter clothes I was bone-chillingly frozen just crossing the street from my hotel to a restaurant.

120's (F) in Palm Springs and Vegas. Cold was last year's polar vortex when I was on travel to Minnesota. It was just so cold, but I don't remember what the windchill was. Way into the negatives. When DH was deployed, it got up to 130F and he had to wear full combat gear. Yuck.

I don't remember exact temps, but times that I've been the hottest or coldest.

Hottest: chatuchak weekend market, bangkok Thailand. After that day, my husband and I agreed to never complain about the heat ever again.

Coldest: last new year's after the blizzard, I had to get my sister and her husband back to their bus. No public transit was really running and we had to walk so far. When I finally got back home, I was sobbing when I pulled my boots off because my feet were so tired and frozen.

MO weather is deceiving. We have high humidity, so the heat index is always higher than the actual temp. I think the worst has been like 105 F and 100% humidity. It was the summer I was a camp counselor and I was living in a tent. Yuck.

Coldest? Maybe -15 F?

@MrsBrewer: we had a few days like that last winter - our winter was FREEZING. There were more missed school days for cold weather than there were for snow. Although it might "only" be -20 or -25, the windchill easily put it past -50. It was cold. I hope this year isn't so bad

I think the hottest was when I went to Texas as a teen, 114.

Hottest was probably around 120 in Kentucky in the summer. It was miserable, but at least there was A/C.

It was -20 (without windchill) several times last winter. Tires start to freeze at that temp, which is ahem, fun to drive on. Not sure what it was with windchill; once you get past -10 it's all the same to me. Cold as hell.

Hottest is probably somewhere in the Mojave desert (dry) or in Cambodia during the summer (hot and humid). It was so hot in Cambodia, I got heat stroke and almost fainted a few times the first day.

Coldest (and I'm a total wuss) was probably 20F.

@Arden: It was horrible! DH's family live in MN and they have farms up there, and pretty much all of the water lines froze, so all the their cattle had no water for 2-3 days. Everyone was scared that they weren't going to make it. But thankfully, his uncle was able to somehow defrost the lines so they had access to water.

I'm not sure. Nothing TOO crazy. The hottest was probably Dallas, TX in the summer...105 degrees or so? Coldest was probably just regular old winter in upstate NY...we had that polar vortex thing going on last winter where it was consistently below zero with windchills of -15 to 20.

What are the highest and lowest temperatures you've experienced?

The highest was in Albania - it was 122F and we had no running water so you couldn't even take a shower to cool down. And obviously no A/C. That sucked.

I can't remember the coldest. I lived in WA for a year so maybe it was there, but I remember freezing my tail off in MI too.
