It was a total stranger who decided to grab my belly and proceed to follow me around the grocery store for 10 ish minutes talking about the most inappropriate things. When I was pregnant with Ev we stopped for lunch at a BBQ place. We had gotten our food to go because it was so packed...it was an order at the counter and someone would bring it to your table kind of place, and the line at the counter was at least 10 people deep. So we were walking past the counter to the door and the cashier runs out from behind the counter, slaps her hand on my belly and informs me I was having a girl! I was so surprised that I was a bit frozen, but D for mad, snapped "get your hands off my wife!" and pulled me away. It's not something I ever thought to ask someone and I was weirded out by how many people were asking the status of my cervix! I never had a check done 'til I was in active labor so I never knew.
