My son and dog sleep in our bed, and my son is adamant that the dog needs to get up when we do. Poor pup. My husband and I each get one weekend morning to sleep in. He usually will trade me his morning to sleep in to avoid a less beloved parenting task though. Does anyone else stay awake to listen to their SO play with LO in the morning? I love listening to them talk and to hear how my husband does things with LO. I feel like I'm spying, but they're so cute. Usually they wake up within 30 minutes of each other, but it's a toss up who will wake up first. About once a week my 3-year old will move to the couch around 6 am and sleep there for a couple hours. DH gets up with the kids, and I'm up about 30 minutes (some days an hour) after that.
